What Mandy Tam, R.Ac says in the video, from its captions.

This is such an important question because fertility can feel like a very emotional journey and I always want my patients to feel like they're being supported as a whole person, not just a number on a blood test. Acupuncture may support fertility care by helping with things like stress, sleep, pain and overall well-being. When it comes to IVF, some patients choose acupuncture as a complementary treatment alongside their medical care.

But I do want to be clear, acupuncture is not a replacement for fertility treatment and it cannot guarantee pregnancy or improve IVF outcomes for everyone. What I love about this work is being able to support someone through a process that can feel physically and emotionally overwhelming. Sometimes that means helping you feel more grounded, sometimes it means helping you manage discomfort and sometimes it is simply having someone say Okay, let's take this one step at a time.

You deserve that kind of care, too.
